안녕하세요. 살콤아내입니다. 최근 친구를 만난서 유튜브 키즈 활용법에 대해 알게되었어요. 저는 집에서 유튜브 재생목록에 제가 업로드한 영상파일만을 보여주는데요, 어느샌가부터 아이가 다양한 영상시청을 원하더라구요. 1년 내내 알파블록스, 맥스앤루비, 까이유만 틀어줬으니 얼마나 지겨울까요? 둘째가 두돌이 넘었으니 영상시청범위를 늘려보려합니다.
유튜브키즈를 사용하면 자녀의 나이대별로 맞춤영상을 시청하거나 특정채널만 골라서 시청할 수 있게 설정할 수 있어요. 유튜브키즈는 영상을 검색하는 기능이 없어서 좋더라구요. 갑자기 보여주고싶지 않은 영상 썸네일이 뜨는데 아이가 보여달라고 실랑이하는 경우도 없고요!
유튜브키즈라는 신세계를 아이가 맛보기 전에 영유아용 추천 유튜브채널을 살펴보았습니다. 이 중에서도 다 보여줄 수는 없고 저와 아이에 맞는 채널을 한두개 골라 보여주기만 해도 충분한 것 같아요. 같은 영상을 반복해서 보여주는 편이 다양한 영상을 보여줬을 때 보다 영어습득률이 높아졌다고 합니다. 목표표현을 외울때까지 달달 같은 영상을 반복해서 보아야 머리속에 남는다는 말이 있으니, 매번 다른 영상을 제공하거나 너무 많은 영상선택지를 줄 필요는 없다고 생각합니다.
